A content creator specializing in a tech review videos with 20K subscribers noticed their videos were not performing well despite good content quality. The goal was to increase views, engagement, and ranking on YouTube's search results.

Challenges Identified:

  • - The title was so big and not attractive to the audience.

1. Research & Analysis

- Studied competitor thumbnails in the tech niche.
- Identified key trends: bold typography, high-contrast colors.
- Analyzed audience demographics (mostly males aged 18-34).

2. Thumbnail Strategy

- Used bright orange/blue gradients for attention.
- Close-up shots of the YouTuber with exaggerated reactions.
- Glow effects for readability.

3. A/B Testing

- Created 3 thumbnail variations per video.
- Tested different emotions (shock vs. excitement) and text placements.
